I have a passion for learning and being the best that I can. This has lead me to obtaining undergraduate degrees in Communications, Business and Education. These have provided a solid educational foundation which has been beneficial throughout my career.

In keeping with my desire to continually enhance my skills so that I may be the most effective Adult Learning Facilitator possible, I decided to pursue a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Adult Education and Training (AET) at Colorado State University. I selected this program as it provides practical coursework that builds upon adult learning theory. The courses and assignments (which have been displayed throughout this website) have proven to be very instrumental in enhancing my knowledge and skill in teaching adults.

Throughout each of my courses, I have been called upon to reflect, think critically, and examine other perspectives as well as my own paradigms. I learned to dig deeper and to think critically as I explored what it means to be an adult, to educate and the value of experience in one's life long educational process. As a result, I have learned deeply and have grown not only as an Adult Learning Facilitator but also as a person.

Education is an investment, and one of the most critical investments we can make. Nelson Mandela
